With the end of summer, we are madly using up our CSA portions. We had some peaches that needed eating. We made muffins, cupcakes and even pizza. This simple pizza was par cooked, then topped with ricotta, black pepper, mint, thinly sliced fennel, and peaches. When it came out, we topped it with fennel fronds and blue cheese. Fancy and delicious.
And, since I made the dough with yeast, I thought I would send this to Yeastspotting over at
Wild Yeast.

Now THAT is one beautiful way to use some peaches!
Oh wow, you might be the most daring chef I know! These combinations are out of this world, you are so talented.
I know putting fruit on pizza is not a new trend, but I have never tried it. This looks mouthwatering ... :)
Did Miss Baby eat a peach and fennel pizza? Incredible.
Wow. I couldn't eat that, but it sure sounds good!
do you ever grill your pizzas? they're SO delicious this way, and the topping combination here would work great. I promised my mom I'd make her grilled pizzas this weekend -- I think I might do this as the topping!
jen, I have grilled pizzas. though now I am without a grill. But, it is delicious. if you make it, please do tell me how it went.

fluffernutter: I guess I should start adding tags, but this was a grown up meal. We haven't given belle blue cheese yet.
Jenny: While you might have certain dietery restrictions, do consider adding peach to a savory dish.
